Dear Thomas Patrick (Pat):

The long awaited day has finally come! You are in the loving arms once again of your earthly parents, Tom and Sally, and above all, the embrace of Almighty God and the whole cohort of heaven. Your family and friends certainly mourn your earthly existence. How could they not? You were such a devoted husband, father, family member, friend. However, now you are enjoying the rewards of your labor. Why, this terrible tragedy? I do not know. Everyone keeps asking the same question. May the Good Lord show all people that terrorism and war is not the answer to the problems that people face. Maybe, you can intercede for us in heaven. We love you, and we will miss you.
