Lt. Dowdell gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country! A true hero! I know that Kevin would be very proud of the way that Both James and Patrick have carried on thier father's name! His legacy lives on through those two young boys. My prayers will always be with the Dowdell family!

Even though we will not get to see our loved ones for quite some time, they have moved on to a better life. They are now looking down on you and watching you to make sure that you are safe. Even though, it seems as if we will not get to share more times with him/her we will always have the memories. The fact that they left to go fight for another person to live, makes me so proud, and i will just remember them as one of the greatest heros that have ever lived.
