Dear Stacey,

After watching the memorial services on television today, I was so sad to learn of Brendan's passing on September 11, 2001.

I don't know if you remember me, but I'm Kurt Wittneben's ex-wife.

For this whole year, I wondered if it was a possibility of Brendan being in the WTC because I remembered what he did, but wasn't sure if it was still the case.

I can't imagine the pain you, your girls and his family are dealing with. However, please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers and I will always remember Brendan's happy face and warm heart.
