Kevin M. Smith

"Jake" ( # 2),
It took me 5 years to find out that you were gone. Sorry!!!
To your entire family, I would like to say that, in my many years in organized baseball, you were the BEST second baseman that I ever played with. I often think of the Paramus Stan Musial team's magical year of 1977. You were the nicest guy to be around - always a wide smile and always a great competitor with great skill and class.
# 2 - you were a hell of a ballplayer and a hell of a guy. Sorry that it took something like this for that to be said.
Your family, wife and kids need to know that after 30 years, I still remember that skill, that competetiveness and (most of all) that smile.
Your family should always be proud of who you were!!!

Os meus maiores e sinceros pêsames pela morte trágica do meu sangue D´Ambrosi.
