Stopped in St. Agnes Church today and walked in on a mass for James Corrigan. Although I didn't know him, I am a survivor of 9/11, having been about three blocks north of the WTC at the time of the attacks. I will never forget the bravery I saw that day, of our firefighters, police officers, EMTs and PA workers - plus all my fellow NYers of whom I am so proud. I will never forget the sight of three construction workers leaving their site on Church St. to run towards the WTC, tools in hand. Nor will I forget Father Judge who died as he lived, serving God and his fellow human beings. God bless them all and the people of this city and nation. We must not allow the world to forget what happened on 9-11. Don't call it a tragedy or a disaster, call it by its rightful name, an attack on our nation, our people and our souls.
