Alysia, I was not fortunate enough to know you in life, but wished I had. I was reading mems on 9-11 victims ans was struck by your beautiful smile, so I read more. You and your husband are incredible, as were so many others our nation lost that day. Then I noticed your daughter and I share the same birthday and I started to cry. I will pray for her and your husband, but I just wanted to let you know Alysia that you were an incredibly determined, motivated and loving individual, and that as strong as this great nation is, we are weaker than if we hadn't lost you. Rest in Peace Alysia

To the family of Alysia Basmajian. I did not personally know you, but I will pray for you all and for Alysia who was taken on that fateful day. She will be in our hearts forever, as we will not forget. I worked in the World Trade Center often myself and when working outside of the Trade Center (in the Wall Street area) I used the train in the Trade Center every day.
