I have had a sense of safety in my life until I came upon my own name. To my surprize I'm honored this day to know a man that risked his life for others in this way.

In remembrance of Louis Arena and his family, a novena which commenced on the one year anniversary of his passing is being said.

I am a member of the Seattle Symphony Chorale and participated in the Rolling Requiem project on September 11, 2002. I wore, with great honor, a heart badge bearing his name. I've read all the stories about Louis on the internet and join with his family and friends in their sorrow.
