I was recently assigned to write a eulogy for someone inspirational in school. Christopher Amoroso, as i learn more about you, you are an amazing man. My heart goes out to your daughter wife, and all close to you. God bless you.

Greg

God bless you Chris. You ARE a true hero. God bless Jamie and sophia. I hope you have been able to go forward and live, but never move on. what you had will always be the best.

I knew Chris for a very short time, a very long time ago. I could see right away what a warm, funny and most of all, caring person he was. I only recently found out that he was one of the many heroes that we lost on 9/11. My heart goes out to his wife, daughter and the rest of his family. Thank you Chris-you will be in my prayers, always.

Wendy Legas(Mallon)

Wow! This is hard. I guess the reason that I am at this website and writing a letter to Chris is that since 9/11 that is all that I have ever thought of. When the tragedy first happened I heard that he had passed. It devastated me to know that someone that I grew up, that was such a wonderful person was no longer with us. Then it sunk in that it was really Chris. I went to highschool with him and he was the sweetest most fun loving person that I probably have ever known. My dad played softball with his father and uncle when we were kids. It has been a few years and I know that I am probably responding late but I want to bless his wife and child and the rest of his family. His death touches me often. Thanks, Wendy

Although I had never met Christopher, I have come to know both his wonderful wife and his beautiful daughter. His memory will never die, and I will never forget the ultimate sacrifice that he made for our country on that day. He was and will always be remembered as our hero! His legacy shall live on through the beautiful daughter that he brought into this world. Both his wife and his daughter are a testimony to what a brave man Christopher was. He would be very proud of the great job that his wife has done in raising his daughter. His family will always be in my prayers!

I didn't know Chris personally, but I do know his cousin, John, who told me of the great courage Chris displayed in his effort to rescue as many people as possible. My heart goes out to his family, to his wife and child.

On September 11, 2001 Chris epitomized the meaning of Hero. He and his will always be in my prayers.

Christopher Brun

To the family of Ofc. Christopher Amoroso,

I am a police officer in Tallahassee, FL and am one of the many from my department who bought memorial dog tags. I was lucky enough to recieve one with Christopher's name on it. I have read the stories posted on other sites about Christopher's bravery and think of him every day as I get ready for work. I keep his dog tag in a pocket of my vest so it is always with me on the street. I just wanted his family to know he is still thought of and honored even by those of us who never had a chance to meet him.

Unfortunately, I never had the chance to meet Chris Amoroso, but I've been recently blessed with the presence of both Jamie and Sophia Rose in my life.
I am deeply saddened by their loss, but I know that Chris' spirit lives within his daughter.
It may be little consolation, but Sophia will grow up knowing that her father gave his life with honor and dignity.

Jamie - The sun will shine again someday.

I CAN'T START TO EXPLAIN THE PAIN I HAVE INSIDE FOR THE LOSS OF OUR AMERICAN HEROES. CHRISTOPHER AMOROSO WAS A FRIEND OF MINE FROM NORTH BERGEN. HE WAS ABOUT FOUR YEARS OLDER THAN ME AND TREATED ME LIKE A LITTLE BROTHER. NOT TO MENTION HE WAS MY FOOTBALL COACH. MY MOTHER GREW UP WITH HIS FATHER SO THE FAMILY'S WE'RE VERY CLOSE.

I JUST WANT TO SAY TO HIS FATHER CHARLES AND HIS WIFE : CHRISTOPHER IS A HERO OF THE UNITED STATES, AND IT TRUELY SHOWS IN THAT PICTURE WHEN HE'S CARRYING OUT THAT WOMAN . HE WAS A GREAT MAN AND I'M DEEPLY SORRY. I KNOW IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET OVER YOUR LOSS , BUT REMEMBER HE WILL ALWAYS BE A LEGEND IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
DEEPEST SYMPATHY
