It does not seem possible that you have been gone a whole year. The pain seems harsher and the grief deeper. You were always a hero in our eyes ~ the one who always found the silver lining in every dark cloud. Our smiles, when remembering you, though, still mingle with our tears. I know we'll be together again one day, but "carrying on" often remains a day-to-day struggle. Know that you will always be in our hearts, and that we love you more than words can say.
