I knew Melissa from going to college with her at SUNY Oswego. We were part of the same pledge class/sorority - Delta Zeta. It was during this time that I got to know her and her vibrant, humorous personality. I will never forget the night that she decided I needed a "make-over." The make-up kit was bigger than some of my college textbooks and had every color known to man! She made me up and we all had an entertaining time that night. I grew to know and love Melissa throughout that semester....I will never forget her sarcastic comebacks, sweet gestures and most of all her beautiful voice. She sang our sorority song, "The Rose," with a beautiful voice - one that I have never heard before. I miss Melissa as time goes on. I think of her often. I will never forget the good times shared shared with Melissa and what a great person she is. I say "she is" because she is with us in some way, shape or form each and every day. Love in Delta Zeta....This "rose" is for you Melissa.
