Dear Skala family: It's been 3 yrs and there is not a day that I do not think of you! I worked with John's brother Mike at the Clifton Burger King many years ago and always knew what a close,strong and commited family you all are! You also have a wonderful faith (Ukranian Orthodox) to rest your weary head! I remember driving Mike and others to the Ukranian center in Botany Village thinking to myself"Wow what a great faith and fellowship to turn to in times of trouble" It so happens a friend of mine at work(I am a community health nurse) was taking donations for the fallen heros and families of 9/11 and in turn the person gets either a bracelet or dog tag bearing the heroes name.What a gift to receive"John Skala" It was shocking and could not belive the odds of such a treasure! The dog tag has not been taken off my car's rear view mirror since .I touch it everyday and pray for all of you! GOD BLESS you John and the Skala family and GOD BLESS AMERICA!
