Stace,
I will always remember how fun it was to first meet each other in person. We were both so enthusiastic about learning as much as possible about each other before starting our freshman year at Yale. I felt so relieved to be getting such a wonderful roommate.

I fondly remember the letter you sent me the summer before our freshman year. It came in such an artsy envelope (one that you had fashioned from pages in fashion magazines) and with a picture of you and Laura. I've still got it. Thinking back on it, I now realize it was really representative of some of the things so characteristic of your personality and also telling of those things most important to you: friendship and making people feel welcomed, your sister Laura and fashion and creativity.

You were such a positive influence during your short life. The world really does miss you. Thanks so much for your friendship.

forever your friend,
Tania

My heart goes ot to you and your family. One September day my phone rang with voices from concerend friends searching for me.. My maiden name is Stacy Lauren Sanders, and in 2001 I was also 25. Growing up in Northern New Jersey I can understand the impact of 9/11.
I wish you family the best! I looked up your story because when I found out a Stacey Sanders, 25 was on the victims list. It overwhelmed me. I will never forget those days and learning about you. I would have loved to meet you and laugh about our similarities. God Bless you!
