I left a bouquet at Lorraine's stone on the 10th Anniversary in the William Penn Cemetery in Somerton - Philadelphia. Someone left a peace lily. Lorraine probably was a peaceful soul throughout her life. So much lost.

Lorraine, I lived in Florida on 9/11/01 and didn't know you were on Flight 93 until lately. I remember you so well from Neshaminy H.S. You were one of the most beautiful classmates-inside & out. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I visit the Garden of Reflection often. It is the perfect site to honor you - our hero.

You were a dear friend from long ago and only realized of your tragic end My love and prayers are with you and your loved ones.You died doing what you loved and in your home state. May you rest in peace my sweet Lorraine. I will never forget you.

Sometimes you meet a face you can't forget. Lorraine was that face for me. I traveled the same route quite frequently and often in first class. I remember one particular flight where I was particularly upset and crying. Along came Lorraine who held my hand and said "are you okay sweetie"??? I had told my then-boyfriend and future husband about this amazing flight attendant on United Airlines. He and I both had the privilege of meeting her on a rare flight where we flew together. I told him after 9/11 when the pics were posted I thought that was her. He remembered her too. Tonight, as I watched the memorial feature on the movie "United 93" I KNOW it was her. What an amazing woman. She touched people and probably didn't even know it. Her face stood out to me because she reminded me of someone else I knew. And because she was about the gentlest soul I had ever met as complete strangers and eventually "friends" as I was on her route quite often. Lorraine, you were a beautiful person...my husband is gone now too. I hope the two of you can share airline stories in Heaven. He has a few and I am sure you have millions. Thank you for being such a comforting figure to me when I was young, scared and inexeperienced as a traveler. YOU ARE AMAZING.
