I attended the memorial mass for James F. Murphy IV (the fourth) at St. Joseph's Church in Garden City.
The church was packed with standing room only and the majority were young men and women like himself. He was well loved by his wife,family and friends. Two of his uncles on the Fagan family side concelebrated the mass with several bishops and many other priests.

He will be sorely missed.

My wife was a schoolmate of one of his aunts.
