We miss you Buddy and will never forget you. Hal and I will always remember the good times we had at Reis Park playing paddle tennis.

It was good knowing you and our hearts are broken remembering you.

Our son a fireman that day lives on and though we are happy to have him we will always remember how lucky we were but how sad we felt at your passing and all the other firemen and people.

You will be forever in our thoughts and we have a picture of you on our bureau and we look at it often.

Today I think of "Buddy" on the 7th anniversary of the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks. Since that time, I've worn a red metal bracelet to honor the brave who rescued other
Americans that day -- my bracelet honors Firefighter William L. Henry. I was surprised to learn he was my age and still fighting fires. And he heeded the call on his day off that fateful September day. In an effort to have the same dedication & compassion that he gave in life,
I've worn the bracelet almost every single day as a reminder to me how precious life is & how important it is to help others ... always. Rest in peace Buddy.
