I'm Joey's long time girlfriend and was planning to be his to be fiance. He was a probationary firefighter with a lot of his friends and came from a long family tradition of firemen and his one brother that opted to be a port authority officer. They were all there that day. From the family - Joey was the only one not to come home. From his firehouse, none came back. From his friends, many didn't return home to their families. We all miss them and pray for them daily. I miss you Joe. I miss your smile and your laugh's. I miss watching you play baseball and how happy you were just being you. Your family and friends miss you too and I'm sure all those that never got the chance to meet the wonderful Joe that we knew are missing you too. I love you babe, now and always.
