I just received an e-mail that originated from Connor Geraghty about his father. I don't think there's a day that passes that I don't think about the events of September 11, 2001 - mostly about people like Edward who died helping others. It is my hope and prayer that we as a nation will never forget the sacrifices of those who died not only on 9/11, but also in Afghanastan and Iraq in the course of protecting America from the threat of extremists who want nothing more than to see us crumble. Thank you Edward Geraghty and everyone who selflessly gives (or gave) of themselves for the greater good. My prayers are with you.

Today, I received a petition designed to honor the memory of the fallen Firefighters & other victims of September 11th. I wanted to express how proud Battalion Commander Edward Geraghty (watching from beyond the clouds) and Mrs. Geraghty must be of their 14 year old son. It is a beautiful idea. The events and casualities of 9/11/01 should be remembered always. I would take great honor in participating in anything that would expedite the memorial of Battalion Commander Edward Geraghty plus all other victims of September 11th. 'Young' Geraghty, you are an inspiration & your strength and honor are WORLD CLASS qualities.

Sincerely-
