Nicholas Chiofalo

I walked up 96 flights of stairs today in honor of Nicholas Chiofalo. I never met him but still, 10 years later, his sacrifice and bravery are honored and appreciated.

I live in San Diego, CA and never met Nicholas Chiofalo. However, I purchased a memorial bracelet shortly after 9/11 from Macy's and his name and engine number is engraved on it. It is so nice to finally get to know a little bit about him and read the beautiful tributes to him. I wear my bracelet as a memory to the hero that I never met, FF Nicholas P. Chiofalo, all the time.

My husband and I named our son after Mr. Chiofalo. We did not know him personally, but know that we WILL meet someday, somewhere! Thank you, Nicholas for your sacrifice.

I have written over 300 messages of prayer and encouragement to many of our brave Heroes of 9-11. This message has taken me a long time to put into words. I never met Nicholas Chiofalo but I cant help think that we have a common heritage. I know that Nicholas is with the Lord in Paradise. I trust that the Lord is walking with his family and friends to comfort them. I will keep Nicholas and his family in my prayers.
