Francisco Bourdier

I am a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh. This morning, September 11, 2002, my school held a memorial service for those who lost their lives one year ago today. After the service, those of us who remained were invited to place a flag on the lawn behind our Cathedral of Learning. Each flag had a name on it of a man or woman who was killed in the attacks-a total of 3,041. The name on my flag was Francisco Bourdier, 41, a security guard at Deutsche Bank, next to 2 World Trade Center. I would just like to offer my prayers and sympathy to his family and anyone who knew him, and to all those who lost someone a year ago today. I cannot imagine your grief and loss, but my heart goes out to you.
