Peter was a friend. We would always play basketball and talk about school and friends. He was a great person and he will be missed.

Peter was my uncle and he was such a great man. He had the biggest heart and would alwyas listen to you. I'll miss him dearly and will never forget him.

Prayers and best wishes from the members of the Nottingham Fire Department in Pennsylvania.
Many of us have been to New York over the best several months to share in your sorrows,to pay tribute to your heroes and to most of all join in your prayers.
I just realized through the list of those missing, that Peter Beilfeld, was a member of Ladder 42. WE are the proud owners of the former FDNY Ladder 42. It has been refurbished and is standing tall as one of the busiest trucks in our area. We find a kinship to our fellow brothers who served on her. If there is anyway that someone can send me an email about Peter and his family, perhaps we can do more. Thanks John

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He was my friend but I loved him like family. I will miss him very much. He is not only just special to me but also to my family too. He's true hero and a brave firefighter.
