Three years have gone by, and it has so been hard to let go. The tears have dried and the smiles are getting brighter, but the sadness of not having Uncle Hector around will forever be a part of our lives.
In their picture memorial that Ian and Pam had placed at Ground Zero for Uncle Hector, they wrote, "It's not the way you died that matters, it's the way you lived that makes you a hero."
How true that is.
