I was a Woodmere South and Hewlett High School classmate of Craig and I just stumbled upon the news that he was a victim of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. While it had been many years since I had last seen Craig, this news saddens me greatly.
My memories of Craig are uniformly positive. We were teammates on the Woodmere South basketball team and he was one of the most friendly, easy going and good-natured guys I remember. It does not surprise me to read that he was a warm, loving and devoted father and family man.
My sincere condolences, albeit delayed, go out to Craig's family, including his wife, siblings, mother and three children.
